Each year, we hold a planning retreat to set course. Today, we welcomed 6 new members, broke into various sub-groups to do some planning, and, as always, ate some delicious food.

We are a roughly 16-member body that meets monthly to discuss projects, share information, talk about partnership opportunities, and figure out how to accomplish our food-related goals. Is that something that interests you?

We are honored to learn that we were nominated for not one, but two "Common Ground" awards this month. Put together by the Metropolitan Pima Alliance, "Common Ground recognizes community leaders, projects and events with successful collaboration for the overall benefit of the community."
The Pima County Food Alliance Wants You!
We’re now accepting applications for our Leadership Council, a roughly 16-member body that meets monthly to work on projects related to food and food policy in Pima County. Leadership Council members commit to a two-year term with a roughly 10-hour commitment per month. We’re looking for a range of skills and interests, from grant writing to project management and event coordination. Applications are due May 4!
